Альбер Лебур (Albert Lebourg)

Альбер Лебур (1849-1928) родился во французском городке Монфор-сюр-Риль.
В ранней юности Лебур заинтересовался архитектурой и поступил в мастерскую архитектора Друэна. Однако, через некоторое время он разочаровывается в архитектуре и начинает изучать живопись в Руанской Муниципальной школе живописи и рисунка.
С 1872г. по 1876 г. Лебур живет в Алжире и работает преподавателем в местном Обществе изящных искусств.
В 1877 году он возвращается в Париж и знакомится с Дега, Моне и Сислеем.
Лебур принимает участие в IV (1879 г.) и V (1880 г.) выставках импрессионистов.
С 1886 г. по 1895 г. живёт в Париже и ежегодно выставляет свои работы в Парижском салоне (официальной регулярной экспозиции парижской Академии изящных искусств).
В последующие годы много путешествует по Европе, посещает Голландию, Англию и Швейцарию.
В 1900 г. Лебур принимает участие во Всемирной выставке в Париже.
В 1903 году он становится кавалером Ордена Почётного легиона.
Умер Альбер Лебур 1 января 1928 г.
